Position Summary:

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team, reporting directly to our Vice President of Digital Marketing. This is a rare opportunity to get visibility into how digital marketing strategy is set at the top, while owning real, hands-on day-to-day execution.

This role is a blend of creative production, copywriting, and project management, with a strong emphasis on email marketing. You'll build the creative and write the copy that goes into our email campaigns, contribute creative for paid media, support the content behind our GEO (generative engine optimization) efforts, and manage the moving pieces that keep our campaigns on schedule and performing well.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing - Creative, Copy, & Execution (~65%)

  • Generate on-brand creative assets and templates for email campaigns, then build and deploy those emails directly in our ESP (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Write email copy - subject lines, preview text, body copy, CTAs - that's on brand and built to convert, partnering with Brand Marketing on tone while owning the final version that goes out
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns: planning, segmentation, QA, scheduling, and post-send analysis
  • Own the email promotional calendar and coordinate with cross functional teams (Revenue Management, Sales, Brand) to align send timing with business priorities
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, copy, and creative to continually improve performance

Paid Media Creative (~15%)

  • Design and produce creative assets for paid social, display, and programmatic campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.), adapted across platform specs and formats
  • Partner with the Paid Media team to understand campaign goals and audience insights that inform creative decisions

GEO Content Support (~10%)

  • Support our content strategy behind GEO (generative engine optimization), helping to ensure our brand is surfaced and represented accurately by AI-powered search and assistance
  • Publish website content with GEO/SEO best practices in mind

Creative Performance Management (~10%)

  • Own creative-level performance metrics across email and paid (CVR, CPA, ROAS) and translate results into actionable next steps
  • Maintain a test-and-learn calendar to combat creative fatigue and keep campaigns fresh
  • Maintain and organize a shared creative asset library with Brand Marketing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2–4 years of experience generating creative assets for digital marketing campaigns
  • Hands-on proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, etc.), as well as emerging creative AI tools
  • Experience building and deploying emails in an ESP, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud; basic HTML/CSS for email template customization
  • Working knowledge of ad platform creative specs (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
  • Understanding of performance metrics and how creative decisions impact Open Rates, CTR, CVR, and CPA/ROAS
  • Strong eye for design and brand consistency, balanced with a data-driven, test-and-learn mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent asset requests/deadlines
  • Experience working cross-functionally between commercial teams
