E-Billing Analyst

Overview

The Chicago, IL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an E-Billing Analyst with legal billing experience. The E-Billing Analyst will have excellent communication skills and a high level of professional service to clients, management, attorneys and other staff in order to effectively, efficiently and successfully troubleshoot E-Billing issues. The E-Billing Analyst must resolve all eBilling rejections, with the exception of any categories that fall under the biller’s scope. The E-Billing Analyst will work with E-Billing vendor sites for E-Billing related to insurance defense and other matters; will research and resolve E-Billing related inquiries and discrepancies. This position will also assist and follow through with any ad hoc requests assigned by the Billing Management Team.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college level courses in Accounting or Accounting Degree are a plus.
• 2 to 4 or more years hands-on billing experience preferably in a law firm environment, including 1 to 3 or more years electronic billing experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in all areas of the E-Billing process
• Aderant, Elite, LawTime (or equivalent) legal accounting software experience. BillBlast or eBillingHub experience a plus.
• Strong technology and office skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook, and ability to create, edit, and present complex data, analyses and ad hoc reports.
• Flexibility to adjust to varied situations and possibly work weekends or evenings as needed
