Position Overview
The Event Assistant supports Event and Senior Event Producers in coordinating all details for successful event execution. This includes managing sales contract details, translating designs into production requirements, collaborating with internal departments, and assisting clients as needed. Reports to the Client Services Manager and works closely with Event Producers and Sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Event Producers in translating designs into production requirements
  • Coordinate production elements, samples, inventory, and rentals
  • Communicate key timelines and event details to internal teams
  • Create pull sheets and ensure correct data entry 
  • Support client communications and ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with on-site event execution and venue walkthroughs
  • Help streamline operations and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of event production experience (creative or dĂ©cor-focused)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with event software a plus
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

  • Office-based with computer use ~75% of the day
  • On-site event support 2x per month
  • Travel to client and venue locations as needed
  • Must tolerate moderate noise and be able to move around venues
