Description

Columbia Yacht Club was established in 1892 and has a storied history of being on the water. Our Club facilities is a Canadian-built ice-breaker ship, Abegweit. This Club upholds the highest quality of sailing, public service, and community. The members and staff take great care of the Club Ship, the Club, and one another. 

Essential Functions

• Oversees Club Ship and grounds maintenance.
• Operates and maintains custodial functions.
• Coordinates the setup and break down of all Club events.
• Maintains all Club equipment for events and services.
• Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are correctly implemented in coordination with the General Manager. 
• Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
• Completes daily check sheets to accomplish required tasks.
• Works with vendors and contractors during special projects.
• Completes special tasks and projects to maintain and improve the Club Ship. 
• Tasks can and will change due to needs and demand.

• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Get along well with others and be a team player
• Other duties will be assigned as needed.
