Description

Lydia Home Association is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services and support to children and families in need. Our mission is to create a nurturing and safe environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. We operate residential programs and child welfare services, collaborating with the Department of Children and Family Services to ensure the well-being of the children under our care.


Responsibilities

Coordinate all services for wards of the state and their families. Conduct regular home visits to foster homes. Move cases toward permanency in juvenile court. Arrange sibling visitation, etc.


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-5 PM


Requirements

Applicant must have Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Must become licensed by IL Department of Children & Family Services by passing the CERAP, CCA, 402 and Child Welfare exams. Must have strong organizational skills and good oral and written communication skills. Must have own transportation and current IL driver’s license. Must be willing to support the mission of LYDIA. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
