Our Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance and Business Management organization is responsible for key components of the Firm’s corporate real estate portfolio including capital, expense planning, and portfolio analytics. As part of this team you will gain unique perspective into the macro strategy of the firm. We advise senior stakeholders on their workforce and location planning process – providing in-depth analysis and recommendations – to optimize business strategy and drive decisions.

As a Senior Associate on the Business Management team supporting Americas West Real Estate, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Region Head and play a crucial role driving strategic initiatives and analytics across the business. The Americas West portfolio covers 14mm+ square feet across 170+ locations from Ohio to California. This role involves strategic planning and tracking, leading and executing a range of adhoc projects, conducting thorough data analyses, and senior communications and reporting. 

This is a time-pressured and high-profile position, instrumental in assisting and advising senior management. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, the ability to synthesize complex information quickly, and comfort operating in a highly dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare routine and adhoc business management reporting, succinctly communicate findings to senior management, and maintain data integrity within source systems
  • Conduct thorough quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions, and strategic planning
  • Engage with teams across regional and functional organizations to implement and support process improvements
  • Ensure meetings are thorough and well run with clear goals, pre-reads, documented outcomes and accountable follow-through. Track action items and decisions to closure
  • Quickly grasp business context, and distill complex problems into clear narratives and impactful executive-ready presentations, with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling
  • Independently manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving priorities and business needs

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in business management, corporate strategy, management consulting, or a chief of staff role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive insights and decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Strong time management and prioritization, with attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independence
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives in complex, matrixed organizations
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), LLM prompting, and other relevant tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Databricks, etc.)

  • Experience in real estate a plus
