Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our growing management consulting organization. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to drive strong performance, ensure fair and consistent people practices, and support the full employee lifecycle with a primary focus on employee relations, performance management, and talent processes.


The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, handling complex employee matters with sound judgment, discretion, and a practical, business-oriented approach. This role focuses more on core HR operations and talent management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborates with the HR team and internal stakeholders to foster a positive and engaging employee experience while supporting business objectives
  • Collects and evaluates workforce data, delivering actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Advises managers and employees on HR policies and best practices, balancing multiple organizational priorities
  • Offers expert HR guidance to ensure compliance with employment laws and resolves employee relations matters to minimize business risk
  • Completes all statutory requirements within established deadlines
  • Facilitates HR initiatives in onboarding, talent management, training, employee relations, and total rewards
  • Aligns HR programs with industry best practices and recommends enhancements as necessary
  • Maintains accurate HR documentation and records
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs

Requirements

  

  • Full authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship requirements (TN visa accepted)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (HR certification a plus)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple functions, including employee relations, talent management and employee development
  • Multi-location HR background, including New York City, San Francisco and Chicago
  • Knowledge of employment law, accommodations, and HR best practices
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at multiple levels
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills
  • HR experience supporting employees in consulting or professional services industries
  • Minimal travel required

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000. Bonus eligible
