Hourly Pay Range:

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Laboratory Assistant II
  • Location: Swedish Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What you will do:

  • Triage and accession cytology and surgical specimens
  • Process gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimen using various processing and staining techniques and equipment
  • Provide customer support as a technical liaison for the cytology and surgical pathology laboratory for inquiries
  • Support specimen send outs by completing patient sample requests, and filing slides as back up to administrative assistant
  • Maintain a clean laboratory station and work alongside team to manage the inventory, QA logs, equipment functions, and troubleshoot issues in the laboratory with the supervisor

  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Laboratory experience preferred
