The Role

The Manager of Sales Planning and Trade Forecasting is responsible for leading the sales planning process across channels, managing trade spend and forecasting analytics, and ensuring alignment between revenue growth objectives and trade investment strategies. This role develops actionable insights from account-level data, enhances reporting tools, and drives alignment across business units.

What You’ll Do
Â
Lead Sales Planning & Trade Forecast Team. Supervise and mentor analysts, ensuring high quality data analysis and actionable insights for sales teams that synchronize the sales forecasts with trade spend. Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to minimize variances.
Develop and Enhance Reporting Tools. Partner with IT to improve sales planning tools (e.g., Tableau, CPT), ensuring they meet business needs. Own the development and maintenance of key reports and KPIs that supports reconciliation and tracking needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Support sales directors and business development managers with analytics and customer communications. Collaborate with finance and demand planning with the review and reconciliation process.
Strategic Planning & Execution. Contribute to annual sales plan development and review processes. Identify growth opportunities and risks through data analysis and business insights.Â
Training & Competency Building. Provide ongoing training to the sales teams on tools, reports, and data sources. Build competency within the team and broader sales organization.
