HOURS:         9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 

Set short, medium, and long-term visions and strategies for the company’s product suite concerning portfolio, accounting, financial reporting and investor services solutions for hedge and private equity funds. Monitor and adapt to industry, regulatory, jurisdictional and other trends which could affect the technology suite and product roadmap. Manage an experienced team responsible for the ownership and support of portfolio, general ledger, investor services, reporting and data management and valuation systems. Develop and apply mathematical and statistical methods to address portfolio, risk management, securities trading and financial market valuation and regulation. Collaborate with the CTO, CEO, sales and marketing to scope, test and develop ERP CRM system and the integration with data from downstream portfolio, accounting and investor services systems. Develop and maintain OTC swap and derivative financial and data models for hedge, and waterfall distribution allocation and IRR, MOIC models for private equity funds. Procure, install and configure, and perform upgrade migrations for portfolio accounting general ledger system, middleware, data management, data vendors and warehouse systems. Research vendors to strategically select the best or most suitable product for purpose. Negotiate new and existing vendor contracts, and manage vendor product upgrade projects. Set and manage product and system vendor budgets. Develop and maintain financial statement reporting and audit support product. Track and maintain metrics for financial system operations. Collaborate with operational staff to ensure they have an understanding, can perform and are supported with all products and services. Analyze revenue sources to protect existing revenue and seek opportunities to enhance client share of wallet. Develop and maintain fund onboarding for all portfolio, and investor services systems for funds that are launching and transferring in from other service providers. Telecommuting is permitted.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field, and four years of experience in the job offered.  Applicants with any suitable combination of foreign education, experience or training are acceptable.
