About the Department
Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth, Marketing and Engagement, the Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing campaigns, creates digital content, manages audience communications, and supports enrollment and engagement initiatives across a portfolio of non-degree offerings. This role works collaboratively with academic partners, enrollment teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to strengthen awareness, drive learner engagement, and support sustainable portfolio growth.
Responsibilities
- Executes integrated campaigns across paid, owned, earned, email, digital, and partner channels to drive enrollment, engagement, and brand visibility across UCPro’s portfolio of professional and executive education programs.
- Builds and maintains campaign calendars and timelines for program launches and ongoing recruitment efforts.
- Supports audience segmentation and targeted outreach to prospective learners, alumni, executives, and employers.
- Develops marketing content across email, web, digital ads, newsletters, blogs, video, webinars, and social media.
- Collaborates with academic and program teams to translate complex ideas into compelling, audience-centered messaging.
- Ensures messaging consistency and brand alignment across communications materials.
- Supports digital marketing across email, CRM, paid media, web, and social platforms.
- Helps build alumni engagement, learner referral, and lifelong-learning communications strategies.
- Coordinates webinars and virtual events that keep learners engaged and coming back.
- Creates or coordinates short-form video and multimedia storytelling to boost awareness.
- Pilots AI-enabled marketing tools and workflows to improve content creation, personalization, and campaign performance.
- Tracks emerging trends in marketing technology and audience engagement.
- Monitors and reports on campaign performance, engagement, lead generation, and enrollment metrics.
- Assists with A/B testing, marketing experimentation, and optimization efforts.
- Works with internal analytics and systems teams to maintain accurate campaign tracking and reporting.
- Coordinates marketing projects across internal teams, academic partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Manages timelines, deliverables, and approvals for marketing initiatives.
- Supports vendor relationships for creative, advertising, and digital services.
- Develops marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials with a moderate level of guidance from others. Develops, plans, and coordinates the development and production of marketing and publicity materials and campaigns, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Performs one or more of the following marketing functions: marketing communications /advertising; Web blogs or digital marketing; market research; development or review and update of the marketing infrastructure and management of external sales agency relationships.
- Performs other related work as needed.

- Background in higher education, executive education, lifelong learning, or mission-driven organizations.
- Supporting integrated digital marketing campaigns and audience engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with email marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
- Creating digital content across formats, including email, video, web, and social media.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled content tools and emerging marketing technologies.
- Managing multiple priorities and cross-functional projects.
