Objective

We are looking for a competent Automotive Mechanic Technician.  This person will be responsible for diagnosing work for car and light-truck vehicles (including luxury imports), managing the tasks to be done, ensuring the work is done to our standards.  As a Technician this person will be responsible for promoting a culture of quality and superior customer service.  

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including brakes, front end, suspension, alignments, and flushes.

• Communicating directly with the Store Manager, so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.

• Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

• Executing repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a mechanic required

• ASE certification preferred

• Ability to diagnose and do the repairs for all types of vehicles (cars, light trucks, luxury imports) for the following issues: brakes, flushes, front end, suspension and flushes required.

• Ability to work with a variety of tools.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) required.

• Results driven individual who is proactive and very detail oriented required.

• Strong team player that interacts well with others required.

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills) required.

• Ability to work 40 hours a week.
