Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

The Opportunity

The Therapist will provide therapeutic support to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies. This role is essential in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges with effective assessments, interventions, and ongoing support.

What You'll do

• Maintain an hourly billable caseload of a minimum of 5 clients
• Perform assessments, reassessments, and behavioral screenings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Prepare reports and maintain all records in compliance with legal and contractual standards.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, including assessing risk and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Provide education and resources to clients and family members.
• Adjust treatment activities and approaches to align with changes in clients' status.

Who You Are

• You Possess an LCSW, LCPC, Ph. D., or PsyD
• You are licensed to practice in the State of Illinois
• You have a valid malpractice insurance
• Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.

This is a 1099 Contractor Position, Paying per session.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
