Objective:
To ensure that all installations and functional implementations meet the intended design, performance expectations, and regulatory standards by systematically reviewing, verifying, and documenting compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect all electrical equipment installations and wiring methods to validate compliance with the approved designs, URS requirements, vendor specifications and local Code regulations
• Review instrument calibration certificates and loop testing documentation.
• Review instrument air systems, tubing runs, and junction box installations.
• Assess design documents, technical drawings, layout plans, and equipment documentation for alignment with URS and delivery specifications.
• Review electrical equipment grounding, bonding, and safety disconnect systems for compliance with the approved drawings.
• Review motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and power distribution components.
• Document electrical construction progress and all quality field observations.
• Document any deviations or non-conformities with clear evidence.
• Inspect emergency power systems including generators and uninterrupted power supplies.
• Review electrical documentation to confirm process and product compliance.
• Inspect damaged materials.
• Review electrical as-built documentation
• Schedule on-site inspections as applicable.
• Witness electrical testing (e.g., FAT, SAT, mock-ups) and report findings.
• Review & inspect all mechanical components to confirm compliance with the approved designs, URS requirements, vendor specifications and local Code regulations.
• Review special need items.
• Document mechanical construction progress and all quality field observations.
• Inspect damaged materials.
• Schedule on-site inspections as applicable.
• Review mechanical documentation to confirm process and product compliance.
• Witness mechanical testing (e.g., FAT, SAT, mock-ups) and report findings.
• Review mechanical as-built documentation.
• Attend project meetings as required.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, construction partners, and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
• Update earned credit report and forward to project stakeholder(s) at a regular interval.
• Provide timely feedback on inspection findings to ensure corrective actions are initiated and completed.
Qualifications:
• Targeting 5-10 years' directly relevant experience
• MUST have pharma industry - experience with Capital Project planning & delivery greenfield sites
