The People Communications and Engagement Senior Coordinator is a member of the Organizational Effectiveness Team at Sidley. The Senior Coordinator supports the development and delivery of communications that inform, engage, and align employees across the Firm. This role is for an early-career communications professional to build foundational skills in corporate communications, content creation, and employee engagement within a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal communications campaigns.

  • Draft, edit, and proofread communications, including emails, digital signage, intranet content, and presentation materials.

  • Assist with distributing communications through the Firm's mass mailing tool.

  • Develop and continuously refine the process for updating the intranet.

  • Maintain and update intranet content.

  • Monitor engagement metrics and compile reports for team review.

  • Collaborate with the broader Organizational Communications team to maintain the Communications Calendar and prepare calendar views for senior leadership.

  • Provide logistical and content support for internal stakeholder meetings.

  • Coordinate review and approval workflows, tracking stakeholder feedback and revisions.

  • Support senior communications colleagues on cross-functional projects and other initiatives as needed.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills

  • Superior knowledge of the MS Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Process design and management experience

  • Writing and editing experience

  • Web content management experience

The target salary range for this role is:

$53,000 to $70,000 if located in Illinois

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
