As a Solution Architect,Ā you willĀ beĀ responsibleĀ forĀ optimizingĀ the Management Consulting technology stack byĀ identifyingĀ opportunitiesĀ toĀ consolidateĀ tools, improve integration, streamline workflows,Ā apply emergingĀ technologies,Ā and retire redundant or legacy solutionsĀ to createĀ measurable business value.Ā You willĀ alsoĀ beĀ defining and governing end-to-end solution architecturesĀ that enable practice-specific capabilities,Ā offeringsĀ andĀ processes. YouĀ willĀ partner with Product Managers, Product owners, Project Managers, Enterprise Architecture and other Solution Architects to ensure Management Consulting solutions align to enterprise standards while achieving the practice's strategic objectives.

Your role.Ā 

  • OptimizeĀ theĀ practice’sĀ technology stack byĀ identifyingĀ opportunities toĀ consolidateĀ tools, improve integration, streamline workflows,Ā apply emerging technologies,Ā and retire redundant or legacy solutionsĀ 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the practice’sĀ objectives, processes, services, and data to guide solution architecture decisionsĀ 
  • Design end-to-end, scalable solutions that support theĀ practice’sĀ engagement lifecycle, delivery enablement, workflows, reporting, and analytics using shared platforms and integrationsĀ 
  • Act as the design authority forĀ practiceĀ solutions, reviewing and approving architecture designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, approved patterns, and long-term sustainabilityĀ 
  • Define andĀ maintainĀ reusable solution patterns and reference architectures that enable consistency, scalability, and reduced technical debt across the practiceĀ 
  • Support the full product lifecycle forĀ practiceĀ solutions, including roadmap definition, major enhancements, platform upgrades, and decommissioning decisionsĀ 
  • Partner with Enterprise, Platform, and Foundational Architects to apply security, data, AI, application, and infrastructure standards while bringing practice-driven perspectives into firmwide architecture decisionsĀ 
  • AdviseĀ Product Managers and Product Owners on architectural trade-offs between standard capabilities, configuration, and customization to balance speed, quality, and sustainabilityĀ 
  • Represent the practice in architecture governance forums, driving alignment across practice, platform, and enterprise technology roadmaps and senior stakeholdersĀ

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Ā (required)Ā 
  • Must have aĀ deepĀ architectureĀ background with at leastĀ tenĀ years of experienceĀ spanningĀ multiple architectureĀ domains withĀ depth in at leastĀ oneĀ relevant to professional services solutionsĀ and working knowledge across others (i.e. CloudĀ andĀ Infrastructure, Security, Identity and Access Management, Data Architecture and Integration, ApplicationĀ DevelopmentĀ Architectures, ProcessĀ Analysis, DevOpsĀ and ProductĀ Management).
  • Deep analyticalĀ and design thinkingĀ skillsĀ 
  • Experience designing solutions in a professionalĀ service, consulting, or highly regulated services environmentĀ 
  • Experience working within a product-centric or platform-based delivery modelĀ 
  • Communication skillsĀ to make technical topics easierĀ forĀ practice leadersĀ to understandĀ 
  • Strong organizational and leadership skillsĀ 
  • Persists in the face of obstacles,Ā demonstratesĀ initiative,Ā and sets high personal standards for performanceĀ and operational excellenceĀ

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.
