About the Role:
Golden Healthcare Services Inc is looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse to join our dedicated team in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to private duty patients in home settings
- Assess, monitor, and document patient health status and changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Develop and implement personalized patient care plans in coordination with healthcare team
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding care updates
- Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management
- Educate patients and family members on health management and disease prevention
Requirements:
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois
- Previous private duty, home health, or clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, patient safety, and infection control
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Chicago area
