Overview:
We are seeking a Quantitative Trader with 1–3 years of experience to help build and scale a systematic equities trading business. This role combines quantitative research, strategy development and live trading. The position offers meaningful ownership, direct impact on trading performance, and a path to increased risk-taking responsibility.Â
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize systematic equity trading strategiesÂ
- Conduct quantitative research using statistical and/or machine learning techniquesÂ
- Analyze large datasets to identify alpha signals and trading opportunitiesÂ
- Collaborate with engineering to improve trading infrastructure and executionÂ
- Monitor live strategies, manage risk, and adjust models in real timeÂ
- Evaluate performance and continuously refine strategies based on resultsÂ
- Contribute to building a scalable equities trading platform and processÂ
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in quantitative trading, research, or a related fieldÂ
- Active SIE and Series 57 licenses requiredÂ
- Strong programming skills (Python required; C++/Java a plus)Â
- Solid understanding of equity market structure and executionÂ
- Experience with statistical modeling, time series analysis, or machine learningÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailÂ
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environmentÂ

The range below reflects the expected base salary for this position. It represents a good-faith estimate of the base pay we anticipate offering, with actual compensation determined by your experience, education, skills, and performance throughout the interview process. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus (at DV Trading's discretion) and DV Trading's benefits package, including the benefits listed above.
