Job DetailsJob Location: Behavioral Health- 17 N State St - Chicago, IL 60602Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 HourlyOpen Roads Behavioral Health, a department of A Safe Haven, is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Dietitian (RD) to play a key role in the growth of our Adolescent Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that prioritizes access to high-quality care for Medicaid-insured and marginalized populations. You will help shape treatment that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in evidence-based practice. The RD is responsible for providing a range of services for adolescents experiencing eating disorders, including nutritional assessments, individualized treatment planning, general nutritional information/psychoeducation, and meal support. The overall responsibility of the RD involves coordinating nutritional aspects of care for the clients on their caseload to enable them to improve their relationship with food and alter disordered eating behaviors. The RD will work alongside other members of a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the client鈥檚 nutrition treatment goals are clear, consistently executed, and actively monitored. Essential Functions: 路 Provide evidence-based individual and group nutrition services, including meal support, nutrition education, family support, and nutrition-focused counseling. 路 Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized nutrition care plans to support clients' clinical, medical, and psychological needs and recovery goals. 路 Support the creation of meal plans and implementation of therapeutic meals and snacks, ensuring they meet clinical objectives and client needs. 路 Monitor clients nutritional progress to ensure alignment with clinical level of care criteria; make recommendations and assist clients in transitioning through appropriate levels of care. 路 Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including therapists, medical providers, and other outpatient providers or support systems to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. 路 Actively participate in treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development trainings. 路 Accurately and promptly complete documentation of all nutrition services, assessments, and interventions in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. 路 Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to changing program demands and client needs. QualificationsMinimum: 路 Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Illinois Preferred 路 Previous experience treating individuals with eating disorders 路 Previous experience at higher levels of care 路 Previous experience with an adolescent population Highly Preferred 路 Two years of documented clinical experience in a mental health setting under the supervision of a QMHP. Working Conditions: 路 Work is typically in an office setting. 路 Full-time hours would consist of M-Th from 8:30am-4pm, Friday 8:30am-2pm, and 4-6 hours remote during late afternoon/early evenings. Some flexibility in hours will be considered. The IOP runs from 9am-3pm.
