Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming presence, assist visitors and tenants, manage access procedures, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by providing directions, assisting with building access inquiries, and communicating relevant information to tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
