Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in day-to-day accounting operations, offering comprehensive support in accounting, reporting, project work, process improvement, and analysis to assist the Accounting Manager and key executives

  • As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and record journal entries, and perform daily, weekly, and monthly account analyses and reconciliations to facilitate month-end closing activities

  • You will prepare and send business reports to various internal users, including management and executive leadership, while partnering with other finance stakeholders to assist in the development of annual business plans

  • This role will act in compliance with all internal financial controls, including preparing financial reports and ad hoc financial analyses, while collecting and interpreting data for optimal business decisions

  • Additionally, you will review accounting guidance and ensure its proper application for relevant business transactions, including drafting accounting policy documentation where applicable

  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and 7 plus years of specific experience 

Preferred Education and Experience:  

  • Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
