What you'll be doing
The Payment Operations team is focused on delivering secure, efficient, and scalable payment capabilities that support our clients, our business, and the broader financial ecosystem. As a Senior Director, Payments, you'll lead the strategic direction, operating model, and ongoing modernization of our payments function. You'll drive the evolution of payment capabilities across transaction processing, financial architecture, partner management, and regulatory oversight to help ensure our solutions are resilient, client-focused, and built for scale. Working closely with leaders across product, technology, operations, finance, risk, and compliance, you'll influence enterprise priorities and deliver payment outcomes that improve performance, strengthen controls, and support innovation. You'll also play a key role in identifying emerging opportunities, shaping long-term strategy, and guiding teams through complex change in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
How you'll succeed
  • Drive enterprise payments strategy - Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for payments, aligning priorities with business objectives, client needs, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enhance payment performance - Identify and implement opportunities to improve transaction processing, payment routing, authorization rates, operational efficiency, and overall ecosystem performance.
  • Lead modernization initiatives - Build and advance scalable payment capabilities, processes, and infrastructure that strengthen resiliency, support innovation, and prepare the organization for future growth.
  • Strengthen partner outcomes - Oversee relationships with processors, banking partners, and external vendors, managing performance, service quality, and strategic alignment to deliver strong business results.
  • Embed risk and governance - Establish and maintain effective controls, governance practices, and oversight to support compliance with financial regulations, internal standards, and risk management expectations.
  • Influence through leadership - Provide strategic leadership across teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration, enabling sound decision-making, and guiding complex initiatives from planning through execution.

  • You have a degree/diploma in business, finance, commerce, technology, or a related field.
