The role
You'll run client engagements end to end: set the technical and delivery strategy, make the customer successful, and make the engineers around you better. You still build and stay in the CLI daily, and you own the outcome of the whole engagement, not just a workstream. Remote-first, with travel set by each client (fully remote to ~25–50% on-site).

What you'll do
- Lead discovery with client operators and executives; map the real workflow and find where AI creates outsized impact
- Architect multi-workstream deployment plans and define measurable "done"
- Build eval frameworks that prove the system works against acceptance criteria the client can verify
- Unblock other engineers by pairing in the CLI, then turn the fix into a reusable pattern
- Run executive reviews in business terms: hours saved, error rates, adoption
- Codify deployment patterns into playbooks the next engagement starts from
What we look for
- 5–8 years spanning business operations and AI-powered delivery
- A track record of leading engagements or deployments end to end
- Deep CLI fluency; you pair with AI agents and build reproducible workflows by default
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems, set acceptance criteria, and ship solutions that stick
- Experience leveling up other team members, formally or informally
- Executive presence: present to a C-suite and debug a pipeline in the same afternoon
We hire on outcomes, not titles. Show us an engagement you led, including one that went sideways and what you changed.
Nice to have
- Your own frameworks or patterns for recurring deployment challenges
- Experience standing up a delivery pod (strategist + builders + AI agents) around 1–2 high-leverage use cases
Compensation & logistics
- $180K–$250K base, benchmarked and paid regardless of outcomes, plus Sprint Point Velocity incentives tied to engagement outcomes
- Health, dental, and vision coverage, plus a professional-development budget
- Remote-first; travel depends on the client (fully remote to ~25–50% on-site)
