We are seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. This role is a key contributor to case strategy, attorney support, and client outcomes. You will operate with a high level of independence and serve as a resource for the litigation group.


About the Role

The Senior Litigation Paralegal provides advanced, strategic support to attorneys at all stages of personal injury litigation. You will take ownership of complex cases, coordinate critical deadlines, communicate with multiple parties, and support trial preparation from start to finish. You will also provide guidance to junior paralegals and help strengthen department best practices.


What You’ll Do

Case Management and Strategy

  • Manage a high-volume caseload independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines 
  • Assist attorneys in developing case strategy and proactively identifying next steps 
  • Coordinate case calendars, deadlines, and litigation timelines

 Advanced Legal Support

  • Draft, review, and file complex pleadings, motions, affidavits, and trial documents
  • Prepare and respond to discovery, including document review and production 
  • Handle deposition preparation and draft detailed deposition summaries 
  • Support trial preparation including exhibit lists, witness prep, trial binders, and logistics 
  • Attend trial when needed to support attorneys and court proceedings 

Communication and Coordination

  • Maintain frequent communication with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and the court 
  • Coordinate service of process, subpoenas, and filings across multiple jurisdictions 
  • Work closely with medical providers and expert witnesses as needed 

Leadership and Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and support to Litigation Paralegals and Legal Assistants 
  • Serve as a resource for process questions, workflows, and quality standards 
  • Assist in training new team members and contribute to department best practices

Requirements

 What You Bring

  • Minimum five years of litigation experience, personal injury preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases from filing through trial 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment, effective prioritization, and consistent follow through 
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization under time sensitive deadlines 
  • Positive, solutions focused attitude and a commitment to teamwork and client care 
  • Professionalism, empathy, and a steady communication style with clients and colleagues
