Position Description:
Perform duties to prepare and execute the shipment and receipt of product, raw materials and supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as Shipping/Receiving Lead at 3800/945
- Verify trucks are being loaded or unloaded in a timely manner
- Sequence the outbound/inbound flow of trucks at 945/3800
- Organize outbound and inbound moves at those buildings
- Work as a backup for the appointment process
- Answer emails in timely manner
- Sequence the outbound schedule for both buildings accurately
- Communicate with the spotter at 945/3800 to move finished product and supplies
- Follow finished goods storage process for packaging lines
- Communicate with the P1, P2, Retail, B2C line leads on fnished goods storage plan for the next 24 hours
- Build, Prepare and Ship B2C shipments
- Build, label, and inventory B2C pallets
- Ship B2C orders
- Receiving of inbound supplies.
- Receive in adage all supplies when delivered
- Edit the drop trailer sheet, auditing as needed
- Verify quantity and location of cardboard/other supplies at 3800/945
- Review Expected Receipts and notify leadership of any discreencies
- Execute receipt and storage of labels.
- Build and ship sample orders as requested
- Special Projects as assigned
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
- None
Requirements:
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Prior forklift and walker experience
- Basic math skills
- Basic working knowledge of computers and programs related to email and database management
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs. daily, approximately 5% of each day
- Able to walk/stand approximately 8 hours per day
