Software Sales Intern

TRUMPF is seeking candidates for an internship in the Sales Software Department at our Farmington, CT location. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and compliment their classroom learning. This internship will be on-site May 2026 to August 2026 for at least 32 hours a week.

Responsibilities can include:

- Assisting with a project to overhaul our quoting processes and environment

- Updating existing sales documentation i.e. SOP's, handbooks, etc

- Participate in sales campaigns designed to reach a target customer base

- Involvement in cross-departmental collaboration to streamline the order to cash process

Experience with Excel (formulas and macros) along with a strong foundation in Microsoft Office suite preferred. SAP and CRM experience could also be useful.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Education:

Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in a related field.
