Job Position: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Palos Hills, IL 60465
Pay Rate: Starting at $55/hour
Shift: Full-Time, In-Person
Description:
Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide services in a school-based setting near Palos Hills, Illinois. This is a full-time opportunity working with Pre-K through 1st grade students, supporting early childhood communication development and helping students reach their academic and social potential.
Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Student Population: Pre-K through 1st grade
Setting: School-based
Start Pay: $55 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain
School-based experience is a plus, but not required
