We are seeking a visionary and highly analytical Sr. Retail Sales Strategist to lead the development and execution of high-impact sales strategies that drive revenue growth and long-term market leadership. This strategic leader will act as a key advisor to senior executives, leveraging data, insights, and cross-functional collaboration to influence organizational direction, optimize sales performance, and enhance go-to-market execution.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Define and drive the Retailer’s long-term sales strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Lead annual and quarterly sales planning cycles, including territory planning, quota setting, and resource allocation - operating with week-over-week improvement standard.
  • Translate market trends and business intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations.


Sales Performance Optimization

  • Identify and implement improvements across the full sales funnel to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for sales strategy, planning, analytics, and enablement.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Marketing (e.g., Sales & Product), Product Development, Customer Excellence, and Finance (e.g., Impact Department) to ensure sales strategies are integrated across the organization.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by defining KPIs and leveraging advanced analytics to guide decisions.

Navigate Complex Buying Committees with Precision & Mapping 

  • Design and implement targeted engagement plans to gain direct access to C-suite and senior-level decision-makers within high-value accounts. 
  • Leverage industry insights, personalized outreach, and executive networking to position the company as a strategic partner from the outset of the sales cycle.
  • Establish and nurture influential relationships with internal stakeholders, industry leaders, and client-side champions to facilitate warm introductions and accelerate access to decision-makers. 
  • Use a consultative, value-led approach to build credibility and trust at the executive level.
  • Identify, map, and influence all key stakeholders in enterprise accounts, ensuring consistent engagement with economic buyers, technical influencers, and business champions. 
  • Lead strategic account planning sessions that align organizational priorities with client executive objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience preferred in sales strategy, revenue operations, or a related leadership role—preferably within high-growth, complex B2B or enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading strategic planning, GTM design, and organizational transformation at a senior level.
  • Strong command of data analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Clari, Excel) and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN) and best-in-class GTM practices.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in marketing agency, management consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Industry experience in: Retail / CPG / Media / Advertising / Marketing Technology / etc.

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring range for this position is:

134,291.25 - 223,818.75 USD Annual

The final offer may vary based on factors such as geographic location, job-related skills, education, certifications, work experience, and other relevant considerations.

Depending on the job level and role, it may include:

  • Annual discretionary bonuses through our Core Company Performance Bonus Plan
