Role Overview

The Strategic Growth Manager plays a pivotal role in driving Daniels Health’s next generation of solutions in healthcare waste management and environmental sustainability. This position identifies, evaluates, and develops new product and service opportunities that align with our mission to make healthcare safer, more sustainable, and operationally efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Business development and build new business opportunities in the areas of product destruction services, targeting expired products or products requiring disposal/destruction/incineration/recycling within the healthcare sector. 
  • Conduct deep market research to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and white-space opportunities within healthcare waste, sustainability, and logistics sectors.
  • Analyze customer feedback, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts to guide innovation priorities.
  • Build and maintain a robust business case pipeline for potential new services.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify, develop and manage third party disposal outlets for stockpiles of medical products requiring destruction/disposal/recycling
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Business Development, and Operations to define service requirements and ensure alignment with Daniels’ operational capabilities.
  • Partner with commercial and leadership teams to position, price, and launch new offerings effectively.
  • Prepare and present new service offering proposals to potential customers at various levels, including C-suite and procurement/supply chain departments
  • Oversee the transition from concept to commercialization, ensuring go-to-market readiness and measurable business impact.
  • Serve as a bridge between strategy, sales, and operations to ensure cohesive execution of growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sustainability and Compliance teams to ensure service and destruction/disposal outlets meet environmental and regulatory standards.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in strategic growth, product development, or business development roles.
  • Background in healthcare, sustainability, or logistics sectors preferred.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with comfort navigating ambiguity and building from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with design thinking, stage-gate, or other innovation frameworks a plus.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and results driven.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
  • Occasional travel for pilot programs and customer/stakeholder meetings.

$90,000 - $125,000 a year
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
