Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day Supply Chain functions that directly and indirectly support our Custom Distribution Clients, respected distribution centers, commissaries, or system house.

This position is hybrid (3x/week) based out of our Chicago, IL Office with anticipated travel 3-4x per year. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

• Daily proactive and reactive communication regarding daily supply chain issues, shorts, late trucks, inbound delays, redeliveries, and substitutions
• Daily tasks of entering PO accuracy, PO reconciliation and accounting discrepancies​
• Management and analysis of data throughout the supply chain to develop benchmarks (Volume, Quality Claims, Shorts, Delivery Days, Etc.)​​
• Close daily communication with Account Managers, Procurement, Accounting, and Food Safety​
• Lead the collaboration effort among the customer, account management, and various distribution centers to effectively manage inventory and forecast accurately.
• Manage data integrity to facilitate timely and accurate order generation to deliver key business initiatives such as promotions and seasonality.
• Conduct supplier partner reviews to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to increase profitability.
• Analyze historical data to develop and grow forecasting tools to help all parties involved.

• Ability to handle and juggle multiple issues/projects
• Ability to develop and improve customer relations
• Ability to speak in technical terms to a supply chain audience
• Passionate and friendly with a positive, can- do attitude
• Preferred 2-4 years experience with either distribution, logistics or supply chain operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Logistics is preferred
