Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated veterinary assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about veterinary medicine and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments
- Safely handle and restrain cats and dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Feed, walk, and monitor animals in the clinic’s care
- Clean, organize, stock and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling and client communication
- Educate clients on preventative pet care and post-treatment instructions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats, including those that may be stressed or unwell
- Willingness to learn and take direction and constructive feedback from teammates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Proficiency with veterinary software systems is a plus
