Overview

The Paid Social Vice President plays a critical role as a cross-functional leader, providing strategic direction and management to the assigned social teams and the social practice. You will oversee enterprise social strategy and ensures the successful execution of important client accounts while growing client relationships. You will report to the SVP, Paid Social.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Expertise:

  • Lead the development and execution of social media strategies, testing frameworks, forecasts, and media plans for important accounts.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, providing thought leadership on the digital evolution of consumer behavior within paid social.
  • Guide process development and foster team relationships, ensuring collaboration across media, technology, and planning teams.
  • Be the chief architect for delivering media strategies that align with client goals.

Team & Resource Management:

  • Oversee resource management, including the hiring, onboarding, and development of social team staff.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the social team, ensuring career development and team cohesion.
  • Ensure execution of media deliverables, with a focus on financial compliance and QA.
  • Oversee the use of social media analytics and Indicators to ensure the team is meeting performance goals and optimizing campaigns.
  • Guide communication between the social team and other departments (creative, data science, strategy) to guide integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Follow agency procedures, including submission of timesheets and participation in annual performance reviews.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Be the primary contact and strategic partner for senior-level client relationships.
  • Maintain client engagement skills, working to strengthen and expand client relationships through innovative media solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing clients and help acquire new clients.

Innovation & Problem Solving:

  • Identify potential risks early, proactively problem solve, and create efficiencies in media processes.
  • Develop points of view (POVs) and best practices related to technology and media changes, helping clients navigate the evolving social landscape.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising, with a focus on digital and paid social.
  • 5+ years of management experience, including mentoring and developing teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in social media ad platforms, including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Snapchat.
  • Experience with global or large-scale accounts in multiple industries
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing large projects, and building client relationships.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $174,300.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
