MUST MEET JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION - READ CAREFULLY, SEE BELOW. Primary Job Responsibilities: Working most of the shift within a COLD environment. Complete customer orders by fulfilling daily pick tickets. Complete this by performing the following duties and responsibilities- Fulfill daily pick tickets and follow shipping requirements for the customer orders.
- Must be able to prepare multiple customer orders simultaneously and separately.
- Gather and organize the ordered items onto pallets as needed.
- Label/Mark the ordered items properly to avoid missed shipments.
- Prepare and secure the orders for shipping and bring them to the loading area.
- Must be able to physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
- Must have a strong work ethic and good attendance.
- MUST have a minimum 2 years of previous experience of order fulfilment (picking) within a warehouse/distribution center environment.
- MUST have previous experience using a pallet jack, electric hand-truck, or forklift to move the product from the main warehouse to the loading area is preferred. Forklift certification preferred.
- Must be able to physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
- Must be able to physically push, pull, lift, and rotate. PDL (Physical Demand Limit) generally is 70 lbs. Occasional PDL up to 120 lbs., would require a two-person lift.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English to ensure the proper product matching for the customer orders.
- Must have and be able to use basic math skills to ensure a proper count for accurate customer orders prior to shipping.
- Excellent attention to detail and common sense in daily activities.
- Work in a supportive team environment from all aspects of the Company’s business.
- Works with a minimal amount of supervision and is a productive member of his/her department by adhering to all the Company’s policies.
- Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENINGS; BACKGROUND CHECK & DRUG SCREENING.
