CLARENDALE SIX CORNERS is recruiting for a hospitality focused Host/Hostess to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.   

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Host/Hostess:

1. Assist the Dining Room Manager and serving staff with the overall operation, coordination, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and beverage station ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered.
2. Responsible for arranging seating accommodations and greeting residents, guests, and staff while maintaining an inviting environment.
3. Monitor the appearance of dining room tables, including table linens, napkins, silverware, table setup, centerpieces, etc. Assists in folding napkins, rolling silverware, refilling water and coffee as needed.
4. Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
5. Provide all customers with quality service and an overall high quality dining experience.
6. Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
7. Assist in maintaining pertinent and appropriate resident and guest records, reservations, and special functions.
8. Advise the Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status.
9. Knowledge of diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
10. Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
11. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
