And we need a creative with a camera and a social media brain to help us share that story.   If you love food, know your way around a shoot, and understand what makes content actually perform online, we'd love to meet you.   Why Midwest Foods?  ✨ A mission-driven company with a real story to tell Creative ownership from day one A chance to shape the future of food, one post at a time     Key Responsibilities Photography & Videography Shoot and style photos and short-form video of produce, prepared foods, events, farm visits, and behind-the-scenes moments Edit and deliver polished assets for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital channels Capture real-time content at company events and activations Organize and upload assets to shared folders for team access Social Media Create content across Midwest Foods' social channels (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn) Write captions and short-form copy that fit the brand voice and seasonal priorities Build and maintain a social content calendar Handle community engagement and real-time coverage at events Creative & Strategic Collaboration Work with the marketing team on shot lists, content direction, and campaign themes Design simple social graphics using Canva or similar tools Contribute ideas during content planning and brainstorm sessions Gain visibility into how social content connects to broader marketing strategy, seasonal priorities, and sales initiatives Collaborate across marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand the full foodservice ecosystem QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media, photography, or a related field (freelance, agency, brand-side, all count) Strong photography skills; videography and short-form video editing experience strongly preferred Proven ability to create content that performs on Instagram and LinkedIn Comfortable with editing tools such as Lightroom, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or equivalent Strong writing skills for short-form copy and captions Organized and self-directed; able to manage a calendar and meet deadlines without hand-holding Canva familiarity a plus; Adobe Creative Suite experience welcome Reliable transportation required; access to a personal vehicle recommended, as this role requires travel to events and activations throughout Chicagoland and occasionally to our Kenosha, WI location Portfolio or examples of past work required with your application   What We Offer: Competitive pay with flexible, part-time scheduling Direct collaboration with the Director of Marketing & PR Creative ownership over a real brand with a genuine story to tell Exposure to foodservice, sustainability, and hospitality storytelling   Sound like your kind of gig?
