Rhino Medical is leading the charge with an urgent and flexible radiology need in Elk Grove, IL. We’re actively staffing Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologists for a combination of remote Teleradiology coverage and onsite shifts—ideally with light IR proficiency.

• Location: Elk Grove, IL (Remote + Onsite Options)
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Diagnostic Radiology
• Modality Focus: Plain Films, CT, MR, + Light IR (onsite)

Open Dates

Teleradiology (Remote)

• Day (7a–3p): 6/21, 6/22, 6/28, 6/29
• Day (10a–6p): 5/30, 6/20, 6/21
• Swing (5p–12a): 6/16–6/22, 6/30
• Overnight (11:59p–7a): 5/30, 5/31, 6/1, 6/3, 6/8, 6/9, 6/10, 6/12, 6/20, 6/21, 6/22, 6/24–6/28

Onsite (DX + Light IR)

• 7:30a–3:30p: 5/24, 5/26, 5/31, 6/2, 6/3, 6/4, 6/5, 6/6, 6/9, 6/10, 6/11, 6/12, 6/13, 6/21, 6/23–6/28, 6/30

Clinical Scope

Diagnostics:

• CT, MRI (abdomen, joints encouraged), plain films

• ED, inpatient, outpatient volumes

• Stroke protocol/CT Perfusion reads preferred but not required

Light IR Procedures (Onsite):

• Myelograms, fluoroscopy-guided LPs

• Arthrograms, joint injections

• Video swallow studies, upper/lower GI series

• Retrograde urethrograms

Workflow & Metrics

• Avg Volume: 70–80 reads / 8-hr shift

• Stroke Alert TAT: 20 min

• ED STAT: 30–60 min | Inpatient STAT: ?60 min

• Critical Results: Communicated in <60 min

• Inpatient Final Read TAT: <4 hours

• Outpatient Final Read TAT: <6 hours

• EMR/PACS: Modern PACS, RIS & voice dictation systems

Requirements

• Board Certified – ABR/Diagnostic Radiology

• Active IL Medical License (or IMLC)

• CTP proficiency strongly preferred (or willingness to train)

• Light IR experience preferred for onsite

• Clean malpractice & professional record
