Job Title – Technology Project Manager

About the Role

As a Technology Project Manager, you will make an impact by driving the delivery, optimization, and lifecycle management of clinical technologies that support critical study operations. You will be a valued member of the clinical technology and operations team, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners, system owners, and vendor stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and scalable technology solutions.

In this role, you will: 

·       Own & implement clinical technologies & keep them current to meet clinical study needs

·       Adopt system design best practices and strategies to enable high data integrity and minimize future system changes.

·       Develop and monitor system integration with validated change control.

·       Project manage technology deliverables

·       Ensure technology is optimal and maintained over time, while ensuring cost control and study team is up to speed.

·       Triage technical questions to provide timely resolutions.

·       Solve operational issues to ensure business continuity by mitigating system-related challenges.

·       Focus on quality and consistency of data.

·       Support the use of implemented technology.

·       Adhere to timelines and compliance standards

·       Escalate to functional leads and technical support on critical issues in a timely manner.

·       Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to reduce manual work.

·       Highlight risks and mitigation strategies for achieving goals.

·       Compliance with applicable SOPs.

·       Address CAPA’s.

·       Ensure vendors meet required timelines

·       Have a background in any of the technical skills such as Python/DataScience/SQL etc

·       Have experience with building dashboards

What you need to have to be considered 

·       5–8 years of experience managing technical or clinical technology projects.

·       Strong technical skills in tools like Python, SQL, or data science, plus experience building dashboards.

·       Experience with system design and integration, ensuring high data quality and reliable performance.

·       Strong project and vendor management skills, able to meet timelines, manage risks, and handle change control.

·       Excellent problem‑solving skills, able to triage issues, support users, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day technology operations.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
