POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in producing compelling marketing content and coordinating the execution of campaigns across the full marketing ecosystem. This individual will support content creation, (copywriting, social media engagement, light graphic design and branded client deliverables) while also managing internal projects, tracking timelines and providing analytical insights. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Content Creation & Brand Support

  • Assist in the development of original marketing content for various channels including web, email, social media, collateral and presentations
  • Write clear, engaging and brand-consistent copy for client communications, campaign messaging and internal initiatives
  • Design and customize client-facing deliverables such as pitch decks, planning templates and handouts using established brand guidelines
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives

Social Media & Community Management 

  • Manage the firm’s social media platforms, including post scheduling, comment monitoring and audience engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to curate and repurpose thought leadership content
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity to provide recommendations that improve reach and engagement

Cross Departmental Collaboration & Project Management 

  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing team and other teams to gather information and fulfill marketing-related requests
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables for multiple ongoing campaigns and projects, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met
  • Maintain an organized system for project intake, assignment tracking and stakeholder communications

Budget Coordination & Vendor Support

  • Track marketing expenses and assist with budget planning, vendor invoicing and reporting
  • Support logistics and coordination with third-party partners and vendors, as needed

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor campaign performance and social media metric using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot or native platform insights
  • Assist in compiling monthly and quarterly marketing reports to inform decision-making and optimization
  • Identify performance trends and propose data-backed adjustments to improve marketing effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, communications, graphic design or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role; financial services industry experience is a plus
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity and detail
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and social media management platforms including Sprout Social 
  • Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented; able to manage multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines concurrently
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity for marketing metrics and performance data
  • Professional demeanor with an uncompromising respect for discretion and confidential matters
  • Able to work both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams; demonstrated ability to execute projects or workstreams and follow through to completion

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Extensive computer and phone usage in office environment
