About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at an occupational/on-site clinic in Illinois. This 55-day assignment offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive occupational health services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a range of occupational medicine duties and responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct pre-employment and periodic health assessments
• Perform occupational injury evaluations and treatments
• Manage workers' compensation cases
• Provide health education and wellness programs
• Conduct workplace safety assessments
• Administer vaccinations and health screenings
• Collaborate with employers to develop health and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations
• Adapt to the clinic's existing workflows and practices
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois (Iowa license will also be accepted)
• Experience in occupational medicine preferred
• Flexibility to adjust to the clinic's specific needs and schedules
