Midtown is searching for full-time Retail Associates to assist our members and customers in our shop.
The Position
Our Retail Associates serve as consultants to members and guests. Whether looking for a last-minute pair of yoga pants, a tennis racquet or athletic shoes, our clientele enjoy knowledgeable and enthusiastic service. Retail Associates play an important role at Midtown, as they build relationships with members and provide a delightful retail experience in a boutique environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
Respond to customer questions and provide accurate information about products, services, and store policies.
Improve customer engagement with merchandise by making product recommendations.
Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges according to company procedures.
Direct customers to merchandise and assist them in locating products within the store.
Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free retail environment.
Process incoming shipments and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
Ensure shelves, displays, and product areas remain fully stocked and visually appealing.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
Introduce customers to current promotions, sales, and special offers when applicable.
Support store operations by completing assigned tasks and contributing to team goals.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
Strong customer service, communication and organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as needed.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $16.50 - $18.50
