Technologist Assistant - Medical Imaging (Full-Time, Varied)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of their Supervisor and Manager, performs responsibilities in a professional manner not requiring constant supervision. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and assists the technologist in performing examinations.

Minimum:

Current CPR Certification.  

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

       Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Knowledge of computer applications required.  Knowledge of filing systems. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.  Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
