Full-Time Night Shift Schedule: Friday – Sunday

  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM (12.25-hour shifts)
  • Differentials:
    • +$4.00/hour (Shift Differential)
    • +$1.75/hour (Night Differential)

 

 

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $36,400-$52,000 annual salary. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in a technical field or other technical degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience interpreting technical drawings & specifications is required.
  • Proficient in the use of measurement and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and procedures, good verbal communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collects samples at scheduled intervals from each machine
  2. Perform the necessary visual Quality / SPC testing procedures on samples
  3. Utilize tools, gauges and other inspection equipment to obtain product specification data
  4. Accurately record information consistent with the department format.
  5. Communicate with Machine Technicians, Operators and Production Supervisors in an effort to run a consistent quality product.
  6. Follow all departmental procedures with respect to routine daily assignments. All workstation areas will be maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
  7. Inspect and document in-bound raw materials for conformance.
  8. Support the calibration of gaging and equipment
  9. Place non-conforming product on hold and create non-conforming records
  10. Conduct quality inspection on rework product
  11. Work on validation projects as needed
  12. Manage retains of production and validation projects
  13. Provide training and development for other Quality Inspectors
  14. Update Quality Inspection requirements
  15. Create Job Packets and manage device history records
  16. Participate in Material Review Board activities
  17. Conduct full layouts on part components
  18. Leads the team in the execution in daily priorities in the lab

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with ANSI Sampling Plans
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Knowledge of measurement instrumentation (Caliper, Micrometer, Ruler, Gage Blocks, etc.)
  • Experience with automated and manual inspection equipment is a plus (CMM, OGP, etc.)
  • Experience with material analysis is a plus (i.e. FTIR, Melt Flow Testing, etc.)
  • Experience with ISO 13485 processes is a plus
  • Ability to read prints is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
