Requisition Summary

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in driving financial insight and operational excellence across the plant. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your analysis directly influences performance, profitability, and decision-making.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

•    Own cost accuracy by maintaining cost standards, analyzing variances, applying costs, and ensuring precise inventory valuation using your understanding of products, pricing, procurement, manufacturing processes, and systems.
•    Lead and support critical hands-on inventory activities, including coordinating interim physical inventories, conducting factor studies, bill of material audits, and verifying sales cutoffs.
•    Transform data into action by preparing timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports, cost analyses, and forecasts—then clearly communicating opportunities to reduce costs and maximize profit.
•    Ensure accounting integrity by preparing and analyzing cost accounting journal entries and performing detailed account reconciliations.
•    Collaborate across the organization by supporting plant initiatives such as plant benchmarking, layout rearrangements, and system-related projects.
•    Be a trusted team player, providing backup support across accounting functions and contributing to a strong, collaborative team environment.
•    Communicate with confidence, maintaining effective oral and written communication with plant leadership and management.
•    Take on new challenges as needed, contributing to continuous improvement and business success.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Accounting with 3–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing environment preferred. 
•    CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred. 
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and working knowledge of PowerPoint, Access, and Word. 
•     Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills. 
•    Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS or BA degree in Accounting with 3 – 5 years experience in accounting, background in manufacturing environment preferred.
