JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Investigate and analyze electronic hardware failures.
  • Perform product validation and verification testing.
  • Execute and review test plans and test reports.
  • Track and manage production part returns.
  • Document test results, findings, and technical reports.
  • Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.
  • Support ECM/ECU product development and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
  • Maintain lab equipment, test setups, and documentation.
  • Ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct electronic hardware failure analysis.
  • Perform product validation and testing.
  • Review and execute test plans.
  • Analyze production part returns.
  • Document test results and findings.
  • Use electronic test equipment and lab tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Support product development and quality improvement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5-7 years in this capacity is a must

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Electronic hardware failure analysis & troubleshooting.
  • Electronic product validation and testing.
  • Test plan review and execution.
  • Test report writing and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.
  • Electronics product development testing.
  • Knowledge of ECM/ECU systems (preferred).

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • ECM/ECU experience.
  • SEAFOAM experience.
  • WebPD experience.
  • Knowledge of EC-1 and EC-42 standards.
