JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Calibrate and validate engine control systems, analyze engine performance data, perform control system design using MATLAB/Simulink, troubleshoot issues through root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams on engine controls development and testing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calibrate and validate engine control systems in simulation and on-engine environments.
  • Analyze engine performance data and present findings.
  • Design and develop control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Troubleshoot control system issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of engine control strategies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in controls engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with control systems design and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of feedback control of dynamic systems and root cause analysis.
