What You’ll Do

The Grant Writer & Coordinator plays a key role in developing compelling proposals that help advance Adena Health’s strategic priorities and community health initiatives. This position supports the full lifecycle of grant development - from identifying and vetting opportunities, to writing and submitting proposals, to coordinating post-award reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a sharp eye for alignment, who understands how to frame programs and data in a persuasive, funder-ready way. Reporting to the Manager of Sponsored Programs, the Grant Writer & Coordinator collaborates with team members across departments to source content, shape project ideas into fundable concepts, and support internal coordination with finance, program staff, and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: Associates Degree 

Major/Area of Concentration: Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Non Profit Management or related field 

Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: De-escalation training within 6 months.

 Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Certified Grants Professional (GPC) Required Experience: Associates Degree with 3-5 years relative experience

 Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years relative experience
