JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Conduct detailed inspections and root cause investigation into motor and generator failures. Inspections involve hands-on work, consisting of electrical checks, visual inspections, x-ray review, material and fluid analysis
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lab testing of electric drive components and systems – performance and durability testing, failure / root cause investigation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 1-2 years experience, can accept masters, associate degree 4-5 years
- Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Â
- Electrical testing experience, product development experience, failure analysis
