Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Adena Health System is looking for an experienced and highly dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Pulmonology/Critical Care team, working to provide inpatient coverage in collaboration with our Pulmonologists. The selected candidate will join a team of ten physicians and one nurse practitioner, within the multispecialty Adena Medical Group. This full-time position (40 hours/week) has No Call.

The chosen candidate will be comfortable treating respiratory conditions and diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia and lung cancer. Essential job functions of a Pulmonology NP include conducting comprehensive respiratory assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans and providing patient education to promote lung health.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience. 
• Experience either as a NP or RN in Pulmonology
• Be able to work independently, but communicate appropriately with team.
