Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third-party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, combined with state-of-the-art technology, delivers customized logistics solutions that drive efficiency and value for our customers.

Our operation is based in Chillicothe, IL and supports Caterpillar's material flow needs. We manage and operate a warehouse facility responsible for pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support.

Shift Available:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and observations to identify and correct workplace hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, while documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and new hire safety orientations.
  • Track and maintain safety records, training documentation, and compliance reports.
  • Partner with operations leadership to address safety concerns and proactively reduce workplace risks.
  • Support return-to-work programs, injury case management, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Monitor facility safety performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote employee engagement in safety programs and encourage a proactive approach to workplace safety.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1-5 years of safety, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or transportation experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
  • Strong communication, training, and employee engagement skills.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
