Position Summary:
We’re looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our team at our Chillicothe location. As a key member of our lending team, you’ll help individuals and small businesses in our community access the financing they need to grow and thrive. From first-time homebuyers to local entrepreneurs, you’ll be a trusted advisor throughout the loan process—building relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and offering tailored solutions.

What You'll Do:

Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses.
Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and offer the right lending products.
Guide customers through the loan process from application to closing.
Analyze financial data, credit reports, and collateral to assess risk and determine appropriate loan terms.
Maintain knowledge of loan regulations and internal policies to ensure compliance.
Work collaboratively with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to deliver timely service.
Participate in community outreach and business development activities to grow the bank’s presence.

What You’ll Bring:

Prior experience in banking, lending, or financial services preferred.
Strong knowledge of consumer or commercial loan products (or both).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to build rapport with customers and deliver exceptional service.
Familiarity with loan software and Microsoft Office Suite.
